I am an artist, a mother and a bard. We always had gardens growing up. Everyone grew something. I continued this tradition when I became a mother. Necessity has been my greatest teacher in regards to herbs. However I must also acknowledge all of the women and men who have shared their herbal knowledge over the years. I am grateful for all the wisdom imparted over cups of tea and coffee. I look forward to passing on this knowledge to my students. If a book holds many secrets who can image what a lifetime holds.
